Using Rouge

Rouge is licensed to you for your own personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control. You agree to use the app lawfully and not to attempt to break, copy, resell or reverse engineer it, except where the law expressly permits.

Rouge is not medical advice

Rouge helps you track your cycle and shows predictions and plain-language insights based on the information you log. These predictions are estimates, not medical facts. Rouge is not a contraceptive, is not a substitute for professional medical advice, and must not be relied on to prevent or achieve pregnancy or to diagnose any condition. Always speak to a qualified healthcare professional about your health, and seek urgent care if you have a medical concern.

Your data and your device

Your cycle data is stored only on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. Keeping your device and any backups safe is your responsibility. If you delete the app or reset your phone without a backup, your logged history is lost, and because we never hold a copy, we cannot recover it for you.

Purchases and subscriptions

Rouge offers optional paid features, including detailed cycle reports and a subscription that unlocks premium features. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's terms. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, and you cancel or manage it through your Apple ID subscription settings, not through us.

If you ask Apple for a refund, Apple may ask us for information about the purchase before it decides. By buying something in Rouge you agree that we may give Apple that information. It covers how much of the purchase you had used, whether it was delivered properly, whether we had offered a trial or sample first, and our view on the refund. It never includes your cycle data. What we share is set out in our Privacy Policy, and the final decision is Apple's.

Some reports are personalised with a name you choose. You can set or change that name in the app under Settings → [Your Name]. Purchased reports are generated on your device from the data you have logged.

Availability and changes

Rouge is offered as it is and as available. We work to keep it running well, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may update, change or discontinue features over time. We may also update these terms; if we do, we will change the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, note it in the app.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lische Dynamics Limited is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Rouge, including any decision made in reliance on the app's predictions or insights. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
